Satoki Nagata - Development

Development

By looking at Satoki's work I was then able to use his skills to then create art of my own. As his photography skills would generally then be used to then be photo-shopped and edited so that the front layer would generally be more opaque. As you can see below I have trialed this with Nottingham Town Hall, which I found was a beautiful building as it is in the center of Nottingham as it is very impressive as it is quite large. I also used the Leeds Civic Hall within my work.

Mixed Halls

As you can see within this piece I have mixed together both Nottingham Town Hall and Leeds Civic Halll. This is in a similart style to Satoki Nagata as I have used the opacity tool to create this and it makes a very unique design. The reason I have used both the Town Hall and Civic Hall is that it shows the relationship of city's and towns and how they come together. As a country we are all united as we all have relationships with each other and bonds due to the fact we are from the same country. I also believe that this links to my project because of the use of multiple imagery as it has created a really unique effect on my work as it makes it look much more interesting as more is going on rather than a plain image. I have then created various different colour schemes for this image just to experiment.

Fortress

As you can see above I have used multiple images to almost make a wall out of the civic hall and Nottingham town hall. This relates to the fact that we use buildings as part of an empire. It links to my project as these are two of the most beautiful buildings I have seen in my most recent travels, they are both within large squares just so they draw even more attention. This links to my project as I have used multiple imagery to show the beauty of the buildings as by increasing the amount of them it implies that I could look at them many of times. I have again made various different forms of this piece as you can see.
